My apologizes for the lack of blogging this past week. Things got pretty crazy between the event this weekend, meeting with a bride, working late at the other job and taking care of the puppy! However I am happy to report all went well and I am off to another great but exhausting week!
So I have a lot to blog about this week but I will do one at a time...
This past Friday I went to Cape Cod to visit my in-laws. My mother-in-law is an avid gardener and luckily the sun was shining on Saturday so I could take some pictures. Each spring she spends days planting her gardens. While there are a many perennials which I could argue as my favorites (massive hydrangea bushes), her most impressive definitely have to be the impatients she plants each year. In the years past she had gone with the Salmon colored blooms, but this year she went with Electric Orange. I have to say when she told me, I was a bit skeptical, but they are beautiful! They are still small at the moment but come mid summer they are HUGE mounds of color. I will try to remember to take pictures the next time I am there so you can see how they grow!
